Set in the Grade II-listed former headquarters of the BBC, Soho House’s latest outpost White City House boasts 45 bedrooms, two floors of club space, cinema, gym and one of the brand’s famous rooftop pools. It promises to be a young, vibrant and creative space for West Londoners, taking members from networking and meetings to gym sessions and winding down when the sun sets.

The whole club is decorated to complement the mid-century heritage of BBC Television House, as the building was once called – and the pool is no different. Lined with palm plants and loungers upholstered in 60s-inspired fabric, the outdoor area leads into a Terrazzo-tiled bar area that’s perfect for early evening cocktails.

The members’ spaces include a games room with billiards table, performance spaces and an outdoor terrace; the large open kitchen serves an East Meets West menu, with dim sum and in-season produce. There’s also a screening room and a velvet-walled Electric cinema, furnished with armchairs and cashmere lap blankets.

In the basement, the four studios of the 24,000m2 HouseGym offer a varied timetable of conditioning and cardio sessions, and the general area boasts an impressive selection of the latest cutting-edge cardio and free weights equipment. There’s also a bespoke TRX rig, Olympic lifting platforms and a 17m lap pool with steam room, sauna and hammam.

For an overnight stay, guests have the choice of 45 bedrooms over the second and third floors, which range from Tiny to Large. Again furnished in a mid-century style with touches of luxe textiles, the rooms’ bathrooms are stocked with Cowshed.
