Summertime Highlights in Monte-Carlo

Now that the sun is finally shining, it’s time for the glitterati to descend on the Cote d’Azur. After a dazzling few weeks in Cannes for the film festival and an exceptionally thrilling Grand Prix in Monaco, the summer looks bright in the South of France.

While there is no shortage of luxurious things to do and see in Monaco this summer, we’ve rounded out a list of the crème de la crème of what to do, see, where to stay and play.

Stay

Hotel de Paris Monte-Carlo’s Maserati Suite

Perhaps Monaco’s most prestigious venue since 1864, Hotel de Paris Monte-Carlo is pleased to offer automotive-loving guests a collaboration for the ages. Partnered with Maserati, the hotel has created a pop-up suite in room 321. Bringing together the luxury automotive brand’s design aesthetic and Hotel de Paris’ legendary hospitality, guests will be fully immersed in the sensibility of Maserati.

From the moment a Maserati picks the guest up from Nice Airport—a luxury availed for the duration of their stay—guests will find themselves in the world of Maserati including spending a night in the suite’s original décor and enjoy cocktails accompanied by Michelin-starred Italian cuisine all in the comfort of the suite. Guests staying three nights or more will also benefit from a complementary cryotherapy session at the famed Thermes Marins Monte-Carlo spa.

It’s no secret that Societe des Bains de Mer (SBM) has many impressive hotels with some of the best eateries the world has ever known. Some of them include:

Vistamar, Hotel Hermitage Monte-Carlo

A 1-star Michelin restaurant, Vistamar is pleased to welcome its new resident chef, Benoit Witz. The fine dining establishment is located in the Hermitage and features breathtaking views of the port and Monaco rock.

Louis XV Alain Ducasse, Hotel de Paris

Perhaps one of the most renowned restaurants in the world, Louis XV is a three-Michelin starred establishment just off Casino Square. Besides serving the very best in inventive French cuisine, it is frequented by A-listers from around the world.

Le Blue Bay, Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel

Home to delightful fusion cooking, Blue Bay is popular with both visitors and locals in the principality. It also boasts one Michelin star.

Elsa, Monte-Carlo Beach Hotel

A 100% certified organic restaurant, Elsa places emphasis on local produce and clean eating. It was recently rewarded for its effort with one Michelin star.

Le Sporting Summer Festival

Annually Le Sporting hosts some of the top artists from around the world. From Seal to The Corrs, music fans will enjoy sumptuous cuisine and live music in perhaps one of the most elegant venues in Europe.

Monte-Carlo Beach Club

Take advantage of an Olympic-sized sea-water pool and private beach. Sun-loungers and towels included.

Monte-Carlo Country Club

Featuring 23 red-clay courts, the Monte-Carlo Country Club is open to the public for a nominal fee. Calling this country club picturesque does not even begin to do it justice.
