Insignia Group marked a new chapter in its development with the official launch of Valletta Credit Finance Corporation (VCFC) on 24th June 2026. Held at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta, the evening introduced the Group’s premium digital financial institution to more than 150 guests from Malta’s business, financial and regulatory communities, alongside government representatives and leaders from across industry.

Headquartered in Malta and part of the Insignia Group of Companies, VCFC expands our capabilities in serving globally connected clients. Its launch builds on more than three decades of experience in premium client services, applying that understanding to the financial requirements of international entrepreneurs, individuals, family offices and businesses.

The proposition brings together intelligent technology and dedicated relationship management, reflecting a principle established throughout the Group: effective service begins with understanding the person or business behind each requirement.

Extending the Group’s capabilities

VCFC’s development represents a natural extension of Insignia Group’s experience supporting clients whose lives and commercial interests span multiple markets.

For these clients, financial services must accommodate international activity while remaining straightforward to access and personal to use. Managing different currencies, coordinating cross-border payments and maintaining continuity between business, travel and personal commitments all require responsive support.

VCFC addresses these needs through a centralised offering that combines multi-currency accounts, cross-border payments, premium cards and dedicated relationship management with integrated travel and lifestyle services. From onboarding and account set-up to ongoing transactions, the focus is on financial flexibility and a consistently connected experience.

Its client base includes businesses across gaming, aviation, yachting and technology, alongside internationally active individuals and family offices. This broadens the Group’s reach while drawing on our established understanding of clients with complex, cross-border requirements.

A launch centred on connection

The official launch brought this approach to life through an evening exploring the history of money. Guests followed an immersive journey from the earliest forms of trade and exchange to financial innovation and digital connectivity.

The Mediterranean Conference Centre provided a setting rooted in Malta’s history as a trading nation and a meeting point for commerce and culture. That context connected the evening’s narrative with VCFC’s own position: an institution based in Malta with an international outlook.

At the centre of the event, guests gathered around a single long dining table. The format reflected the values underpinning the business - connection, collaboration and shared ambition - and encouraged conversation between representatives of different industries and disciplines.

The evening offered an opportunity to introduce VCFC’s proposition while establishing relationships within the community from which it will develop its international presence.

Built in Malta, with an international outlook

For Insignia Group, VCFC’s launch brings together established service expertise and a clear ambition for the future of financial services.

As JP Fabri, Chairperson of VCFC, explained at the launch, the institution represents an evolution of the Group’s longstanding commitment to globally connected clients. Its ambition is to combine trusted relationships, intelligent technology and seamless cross-border capabilities from its base in Malta.

This approach places personal understanding alongside digital capability. Technology supports efficient access and transactions, while dedicated relationship management provides continuity and informed assistance as client requirements develop.

The launch of VCFC strengthens the Group’s ability to support both the financial and practical demands of international life and business. It marks a further step in our growth, extending the expertise developed through Insignia into a distinct financial proposition with its own identity, specialist capabilities and global ambition.
