In its fourteenth year, the Frieze Art Fair is now more of a destination for contemporary art aficionados than ever. It takes place annually at Regent’s Park and showcases more than 170 galleries’ work, commissioned artists’ projects, talks and artist-led educational workshops.

The fair was started by the publishers of frieze magazine and offers three international fairs: Frieze London, Frieze Masters and Frieze New York. While Frieze London brings over 1,000 of the most significant contemporary artists, the Frieze Masters showcases ancient through the late 20th century art.

Last year Frieze London offered visitors a sprawling space featuring an extensive curation of works. Over 105,000 visitors browsed, listened to the talks—that included Dame Vivienne Westwood on conservation—and sunned beneath the installations that led from Frieze London to the Masters tent.

After tracking down that piece you simply cannot live without, you’re sure to have worked up an appetite. The space is filled with delightful pop-ups. From 34 Mayfair to Pizza Pilgrims, there is a cuisine for everyone. Gail’s Artisanal Bakery is especially recommended for a quick pain au chocolat and coffee.

Doors open a 12 noon. Hosted from October 6 through 9, 2016, Frieze is the perfect autumn activity. For more information about Frieze London and Frieze Masters, please contact your Insignia Personal Assistant.
