Chief Financial Officer – Banking

Insignia Group are searching for dynamic leader CFO to join our newly launched digital bank.
This key leadership role will provide strategic financial direction to our business globally, while managing financial operations across multiple sites within the EMEA region.
The CFO will play an essential part in driving growth, profitability, and establishing solid banking partnerships. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in financial leadership within the financial services or banking sector, and a proven track record in launching and scaling innovative business ventures.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Assist in formulating the strategic direction for the digital banking business, ensuring alignment with Insignia’s broader vision and objectives.
- Financial Analysis & Growth: Analyse opportunities for profitable growth, supporting decision-making regarding investments, divestments, and partnerships. Drive the development and execution of business plans, ensuring effective forecasting and budgeting.
- Partnership & Venture Management: Lead and manage negotiations for joint ventures, banking partnerships, and acquisitions. Oversee due diligence processes, ensuring successful financial structuring and execution.
- Financial Planning & Performance: Take ownership of financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting, with a focus on explaining significant variances and their impacts on business results.
Qualifications
- Experience: Significant experience in a senior financial management position, preferably as a CFO or Finance Director, within a financial services or banking environment.
- Track Record: Proven success in launching and scaling new business ventures and partnerships.
- Financial Expertise: Strong background in financial planning, analysis, accounting, and risk management. Deep knowledge of investment management and financial structuring.
- Start-up Expertise: Experience in leading start-ups or accelerating business growth, particularly in a rapidly evolving digital banking environment.
